Yes! We have casual outdoor seating right on the boardwalk, all wheelchair-accessible from parking to entrance to tables.
We pride ourselves on using fresh, locally-caught seafood. Our regular dishes include local flake (blue grenadier), scallops, and fish based on the day’s catch.

Quirky little boat/barge tied to the wharf at Bellerive. Come over on the ferry from Brooke St Pier and make a day of it! Cakes are baked fresh daily and are out of this world. You'll be hard pressed to find better fish 'n' chips either! A gem of a place, can't wait to return!!
We stopped by for a coffee and tried one of their cake and coffee combos — everything was absolutely delicious! The cake slice was generous, perfect for two to share, and the coffee was top-notch. We also ordered an extra coffee and loved that one too. The owner is incredibly friendly and full of positive energy, which made the whole experience even better. Such a great vibe and fantastic treats — highly recommend!
Nice vibe, generous portions, great view, cheerful owner, excellent 'dirty chai'... a pleasant surprise right next to the ferry wharf! Only suggestion would be to offer some more local fish varieties (trevalla?!) for the otherwise tasty fish & chips meals.
I had the privilege to try a few items from the menu and the cakes were delicious, hands down the best coffee in Hobart, fresh and exquisite fish and authentic Greek flavors in the veg souvlaki.Definitely a plus the owner's good vibes and energy!10 stars out or 5 🙌
Five stars isn't enough to describe the service!
😊Initially, I was disappointed - no grilled fish. My wife is gluten-intolerant, so battered fish doesn't work for her.
As I was walking away, I realised that I wasn't just disappointed that they couldn't do grilled fish, I was disappointed about not being able to buy from the enthusiastic, helpful, *engaged* man behind the counter. It's weird, but I felt that by not getting my lunch from him, I'd be, somehow, missing out! As I say, weird!
Approaching my car, I had a minor epiphany - it's not the grilling of the fish that's important, it's the gluten that's the problem. So, back to the counter and decribed what I needed (GF) rather than what I thought I wanted (grilled) and, lo and behold, got the response "We don't usually do GF but the cook [sorry, I can't remember his name] does a mean GF batter if you're willing to wait a few extra minutes...?". Wow! Absolutely! 😃
The food itself...?- fish (barramundi): nice sized portions and well cooked- chips: a good quantity, crispy and well seasoned- salad: just enough to feel like you're being a bit healthy, without detracting from the *real* food.
And the batter - yep, as promised 🙂
So, I can't promise that you'll always be able to get GF batter, but, from my experience, you can expect good food, at a reasonable price, from a crew that looks after you.
My top pick for seafood cravings! Friendly faces, fresh fish, and that river breeze—what more could you want?
